Chapter 02 · Venus, the brightest planet in the sky

Social media advertising agency

Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube each do a different job. As a paid social agency, we first decide which network is worth your money, based on your product, what a sale is worth to you and where your customers spend their time. Then we make the creatives for that network, measure what sells and only scale what brings in sales with a healthy margin.

Which social network suits your business

Network When we recommend it What it needs to work
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) It's the base for ecommerce and online courses A product that already sells, margin and a catalogue or a clear offer
TikTok Visual products, when the creative does the selling Fresh vertical video every few days and a product people understand just by watching
LinkedIn High-ticket B2B A sale that justifies an expensive click and a sales team that follows up every lead
YouTube Creating demand and remarketing Videos that explain the product and a website for people to come back to

We're not a fit if your product hasn't sold yet, because the offer needs validating first, or if your available ad spend is under €500/month.

Meta, the base for ecommerce and online courses

If you run an online shop or sell an online course, Meta is our starting point, thanks to its catalogue and lead generation campaigns. How we run it, with case studies and figures, is on our Facebook and Instagram Ads agency page.

TikTok, when the product sells on sight

On TikTok, the ad that works is the one that looks like just another video in the feed. It fits if your product makes sense when you see it in use, like cosmetics, fashion or food, and it demands volume: without new videos, an ad wears out fast. If there's no way to keep up that pace, even with our production, we'll tell you to wait.

LinkedIn, for high-ticket B2B

It lets you target by job title, industry and company size. The trade-off is an expensive click. It pays off when a sale is worth a lot and your sales team calls every lead. We combine it with search-based lead generation at our B2B marketing agency.

YouTube, for demand and remarketing

YouTube is bought through Google Ads and does two jobs: introducing you to people who aren't searching for you yet, and showing your ad again to people who have visited your website. We run it as part of our Google Ads management.

Instruments

What our paid social agency does on each network

  • Channel plan. Which network we open first, with what budget and with what target cost per sale or per lead.
  • Adapted creatives. We start from your material and adapt it to each network's format, length and tone. We use AI for variants, with a human review before anything goes live.
  • Targeting and scaling. Audiences, exclusions and ad spend increases in steps, with a cost ceiling.
  • Cross-checked measurement. Pixel and Conversions API on Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn tags, GA4 and tagged links, all checked against the sales in your shop or your CRM.

In the first month you get the channel plan, measurement set up and the first creatives. Every month, a report per network with what was spent, the sales or leads it brought in and what we changed.

Flight plan

How we work across several networks

We start with one: the network most likely to sell, according to the free marketing audit you receive within 7 days. Once its cost per sale settles, which usually takes 2 to 3 months, we look at opening the second. Opening four networks at once spreads the budget thin and leaves none of them with enough data to learn from. Every week we adjust ads and budgets; every month we decide with you which network grows.

Mission plan

Social media advertising pricing: each network is a channel

The fee is per channel and adds up: two networks start at €1,500/month (€750 plus €750). If you combine several channels or services, the total usually goes above €3,000/month.

From €750/month per channel

  • What drives the price: the ad spend we manage on each network, how many campaigns and markets we run and how many creatives go into testing.
  • To get started: ad spend from €500/month. It depends on the niche, but the recommended minimum is €2,000/month in total.

You pay the ad spend straight to each platform from your own account, and we don't take a percentage of it. YouTube is managed within the Google channel and is covered by the same fee. Prices exclude VAT, as we invoice from the Canary Islands; Canary Islands businesses add IGIC. We'll give you a fixed figure for your case in the audit. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.

Kokoro Records: a single promoted in two markets

Kokoro Records is a music production company based in Tenerife. It's our example of choosing the network to fit the product: for a song, the best ad is the song itself playing on YouTube. In a project that included low-cost YouTube Ads in Latin America, geotargeted campaigns in the Canary Islands and an influencer, the single "Somos Canarias" passed 200,000 views on YouTube and 100,000 plays in its first week, and followers grew by 110%. In music, plays are the goal of a release; for an online shop, we'd measure sales.

Generator Landing: scaling a SaaS while acquisition cost came down

Generator Landing is a SaaS company. In a project that included recurring paid campaigns, WhatsApp and AI, it went from €30,000 to €45,000 in monthly revenue in four months. Usually, when ad spend goes up, each new customer costs more; here the campaigns scaled and acquisition cost fell at the same time. Their team puts it like this: "BlueGrow's role in our scaling has been key."

Mission control

Who runs each network

At BlueGrow, each channel is run by a specialist: one for Meta Ads, who also runs TikTok Ads, and another for Google Ads, where YouTube is bought, who also runs LinkedIn Ads. Whatever the network, you talk to the person who runs your campaigns.

Frequently asked questions about social media advertising

Does the same ad work on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn?

No. Each network has its own format, length and tone, and an ad moved across unchanged usually performs worse. We start from your material and adapt it: vertical and direct for TikTok and Reels, more explanatory for LinkedIn, with more room to develop on YouTube.

How do I know which network brings in the sales?

By checking what each platform reports against the sales in your shop or CRM. If you add up what each network claims, the total is usually more than you actually sold, because several of them take credit for the same sale. That's why we also measure with GA4 and tagged links, and the monthly report splits sales by network.

What happens if a network doesn't work?

We cut it. Each channel is judged by the sales it brings in. If after two or three months it's nowhere near the cost per sale we agreed, we tell you and move that ad spend to the network that does sell. We'd rather lose a channel than have you pay for months for one that adds nothing.

Do you also run my organic social media?

Yes, as a separate service with its own price. Ads bring new people to your profile, and what they find there affects whether they buy. We handle that side at our social media agency, and the organic posts that perform best can later be reused as ads.
