Chapter 04 · Mars: where landing is hardest

CRO agency

We're a CRO agency. We look for more sales in the traffic you already have: we review product pages, cart, checkout and sales pages, change one thing at a time and measure what each change does to conversion.

Before you raise your ad budget, it pays to know how many visits you're losing and where. Conversion rate optimisation measures that journey step by step and fixes the points where most people drop off.

Mission profile

Which websites CRO makes sense for

Online shops, course creators and experts who sell through a sales page, and businesses that capture leads from a landing page.

  • To get started: at least 5,000 visits a month.
  • What usually goes wrong: with less traffic, a landing page or a product page; with more, the checkout, or a ROAS that doesn't hold up when ad spend scales.

With fewer than 5,000 visits, a change that works and a lucky week look too alike, and the first job is to bring in traffic. If nobody wants the offer or the price is out of line with the market, we'll tell you before touching a single button.

Flight plan

How we approach conversion rate optimisation

1. Audit within 7 days

We look at your funnel with whatever data exists and tell you what we'd change first, at what cost and what improvement is reasonable to expect.

2. The first month: measure the funnel and find the leaks

  • Measurement. GA4 and Google Tag Manager to see each step: product page, cart, checkout and purchase, or visit, form and lead. If it's missing or unreliable, it gets set up before anything else.
  • Session recordings and heatmaps on the pages that sell the most and the ones that lose the most.
  • Mobile speed. A slow page loses visits before anyone reads the offer.
  • Message and offer. Whether the ad promises what people find when they land, and whether price, shipping, returns and the next step are clear. For long-form sales pages, we work from our own guide to what a sales page should include.
  • Prioritised hypotheses, each with its expected impact, its effort and how it will be measured.

3. Every month: one change, one result

Each change goes live on its own, with its date and its result. If traffic allows, it runs as an A/B test; if not, we compare before and after over the same window and the same traffic source, and flag that this reading is weaker. Every month we decide with you what gets tested next.

Ecommerce CRO: product page, collection, cart and checkout

In an online shop, we review the four pages every purchase goes through:

  • Product page: photos, price, delivery time and reviews visible without scrolling, and the buy button within easy reach on mobile.
  • Collection: filters, sorting and how each product is presented.
  • Cart: shipping costs that appear too late and doubts that hold up payment.
  • Checkout: steps, unnecessary fields and payment methods.

In an online shop, CRO goes together with ads and email in our ecommerce marketing service. And people who abandon their cart can be won back through our email marketing agency.

Our CRO agency pricing

From €600/month

  • What drives the price: your website's traffic and how many pages and tests we run at once. A single landing page takes less work than product page, cart and checkout in parallel.
  • To get started: 5,000 visits a month, so each test has enough data to read.

In the audit we give you the exact fee and which pages are included. If measurement doesn't exist or can't be trusted, setting it up is a one-off payment of €700. Testing tool licences are extra. Prices exclude VAT, as we invoice from the Canary Islands; Canary Islands businesses add IGIC. No minimum term: renewable quarters and you can leave with 30 days' notice. Compare it with our other services on our pricing page.

Dcervezas and Sexperimentando: sales pages within full projects

Dcervezas: pages for the flagship products

Dcervezas is an online craft beer shop. After a project with several parts, its conversion rate rose by 130%, its B2B business by 25% and its memberships by 80%. We moved the shop from PrestaShop to WordPress, built sales pages with new copy and automated abandoned cart recovery. The sales pages focused on the flagship products, where every conversion gain has the biggest effect on revenue.

Sexperimentando: the sales page for a launch

Sexperimentando sells an online sex education course. For its launch we worked on lead generation, messaging, creatives, Meta ads, funnel and sales page all at once. With €4,600 invested, it brought in €57,000. Since everything was changed at the same time, we don't attribute any share of that to the page. In a launch, the page and the ad have to promise the same thing, which is why we work on them together.

Frequently asked questions about CRO

Will you touch my shop in the middle of a sales campaign?

Not during a sales peak. Each change is agreed with you, prepared on a copy of the theme and published one at a time, never at the weekend or in the middle of a campaign. If a change makes conversion worse, it's rolled back and we note down why.

How many visits do you need for an A/B test?

It depends on your conversion rate and the size of the improvement you're after. That's why our CRO service starts at 5,000 visits a month. With less traffic, we compare equivalent periods, a weaker reading that we flag as such.

How long does it take to show results?

It depends mostly on traffic. With lots of visits, a change can be read quickly; with few, it takes longer to separate an improvement from a lucky streak. That's why we don't give a generic date. In the audit we tell you what to measure first with the volume you have.

What if the problem isn't the website?

We'll tell you. If the offer, the price or the type of traffic coming in is the problem, no button change will fix it. That's why in the first month we also look at where people come from and what the ad promises them before touching the page.
